Played here yesterday (29th June 2025) with our golf society, Flag Hunters, and what a treat it was.
The course was in fabulous condition from tee to green. Tee beds were in great condition, fairways were cut nicely, and the greens ran true.
The hospitality we received, was one of the best we have ever had. The butties were fresh and tasty, and the bar/waiting on staff couldn't do enough for us.
And, it's great to see the club encouraging youngsters to play the game, as they had quite a few boys and girls enjoying themselves in the practice areas.

Characterful club and a really fun, beautiful course. Definitely a course for those who enjoy a good walk through flora and fauna. IMO it's the Augustus National of North Wales. I can easily understand why it won Welsh golf club of the year 2025. The course eases you into your stride with two relatively easy first holes followed by an easy tee-shot on the third, assuming you don't duff or slice your tee-shots. Once the course has lulled you into a false sense of security, it sends a warning - the approach to the green on the third is blind for the average hitter. It gives you an idea of what to expect from holes 4-12.  For the average hitter, there are a total of 6 or 7 blind shots, either from the tee or to the green. Really fun holes but take some old balls with you just in case your not hitting the ball straight. Better to lay-up short than take the wrong club Once you've made it through to the 12th you'll be ready for a rest. But then consider the 13-18th holes as the golf courses way of rewarding its golfers for getting through the 3rd-12th holes. Those last holes consist of four pars 4s with wide, fairly straight and flat fairways and a couple of short par 3s. The par 3 18th is the cherry on the cake. You may want to take at least 2 tee-shots because when the ball pitches on the green and stops quickly or even spins back it makes you feel like a pro golfer, if only for just one shot.

Great park course, with a testing layout. Beautiful views and some great signature holes. The greens were in very good condition. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone to give it a go.
